New reports coming in is that, the Dubai police and BNI have been instructed to get rid of people involved in hidden fraudulent activities in some particular places in Dubai.
In a post sighted on X, details of the elimination involves a 10 year jail term for Chinese nationals, those with Emirate IDs gets to have a month before release and persons without any form of identification will be deported.
Per the post, the elimination is ongoing and more than 50 Chinese nationals have been arrested and more than 1000 people from Africa and Pakistan have also been arrested. Out of the 1000, 300 are said to be Ghanaians.
The poster wrote, “The Dubai police and the BNI have reportedly been tasked to eliminate covert scam operations in certain hot spots. 51 Chinese nationals and over 1000 individuals from Africa and Pakistan, including about 300 Ghanaians, have been arrested.”
“Chinese nationals face 10 years in prison while others with Emirate IDs get one month before release and those without any form of identification have been deported. Seized materials which include laptops, passports, and IDs will be destroyed and recidivists will face a 20-year prison sentence.”
