“Except she was raped, or widowed, I have zero sympathy for single mothers”-Reno Omokri

Nigeria’s controversial human right activist and show host Reno Omokri has said unless a woman is a widow or raped he has absolutely no sympathy for ”single mothers.”

He made this yet again controversial pronouncement on twitter which is generating series of counter opinions online.

According to him, the issue of “single mothers” is really taking a center stage in African or black culture which should never be encouraged.

He said as part of his tweet that “The Black world faces a baby mama epidemic. We must not encourage it”.

He further added celebrities should not be made out of people with bleached skins among others.

This of course would not slide without conflicting reactions, there are those who oppose his thought saying some ladies are single mothers not because they desire to but because they fled from abusive marriages or relationship which is no fault of theirs.

One of such persons who opposed the view of Reno Omokri is Nigerian Comedian and Actor Samuel Animashaun Perry Professionally known as Broda Shaggi.
