A 48-year-old Nigerian man identified as Olubunmi Abodunde has reportedly killed his wife, Taiwo, by beating her mercilessly and hitting her with objects.

Per reports, the couple, both Nigerians, moved to the UK in 2022 and have been working to make a living for themselves and their three children till the sad incident occurred.
According to Daily Mail news reports, the couple often fought over allegations of affairs and even argued a lot about bills and Mr. Abodunde “had been repeatedly investigated by Suffolk Police about domestic violence.”

Police report shows that Mr. Abodunde had a history of jealousy and constantly accused his wife of cheating on him, which often led him to physically abuse his wife.
On several occasions, Mr. Abodunde had been investigated by police over domestic violence incidents and he was even arrested somewhere in 2023 after he battered his wife and made her lips split.

After the lips split incident, two police officers reportedly went to their home to take a statement from Taiwo about the incident but upon reaching, they reported they heard repeated banging noises inside.
In about 40 minutes, after getting approval from senior officers, around 9.55 am, they forced their way into the apartment and found Mrs Taiwo Abodunde lying dead near the front door.
It was revealed during the post-mortem examination that, Taiwo, “had been throttled until she fell unconscious, then stamped on until her ribs were broken before her husband used a skateboard to finish her off. The blows were so violent that the skateboard was damaged.”
