Ghanaian man embarking on walk-a-thon challenge has debunked collapse rumours

Seidu Rafiwu, the Ghanaian guy who is currently embarking on longest walking marathon, from Techiman to Accra has debunked news going around that he has collapsed. In a Facebook post, he revealed he has passed Linda Dor rest stop at Bunso.

A day after he started his journey, videos began going viral that he has collapsed. The video showed him lying down on a stretcher in the ambulance as a medical personnel massaged his thighs.

Seidu Rafiwu has come out to debunk the news that he collapsed and said that he is still very fit and committed to completing his walk-a-thon. He also assured his fans that he will successfully complete his walk from Techiman to Accra.

An ambulance with a medical team is reportedly accompanying Seidu on this walk-a-thon to provide him with immediate medical assistance in case of any emergencies.

He is allowed to take breaks and during those breaks, the medical team massage, “his thighs and legs to alleviate any strain or discomfort,” and he gets to eat or drink and do anything to relax himself during the breaks.
