A young Ghanaian robotics builder Popularly known as Kwame Adekye Nsroma,The young man who presented a humanoid robot to Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu ii at the Kumasi Manhyia Palace, and was granted a full Scholarship from Otumfour to Study Engineering in Akenten Appiah Menkah University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development, has shocked the World with His latest invention as he has come out with Africa’s first Ai prosthetic arm to replicate Amputated arms.
Kwame Adekye Nsroma is twenty years old Ghanaian.His real name is Kwame Acheampong but he is popularly known as Kwame Adekye Nsroma because of his wonderful things. He was born on June 6, 2003. He was born and grew up in
Hiawu Besease Ahodwo in the Atwima province of Asante. According to Kwame Adekye Nsroma, His potential was discovered when he was just four years old. His mother is Mrs.Ama Pokuaa and His Father is also Mr. George Akuoko.
Kwame Adekye Nsroma has five siblings of Which he is the last born of His parents.
He started Schooling from primary one in Neumann International School located at Abuakwa Kumasi. He then Completed the same School in 2019.
After 2019, Kwame continued His education career in Sekyedumase Senior High Technical School and pursued general Science as a course. In 2020, Kwame Adekye Nsroma was chosen as the leader of the Sekyedumase SHTS robotics Team.He played a vital role and led His School team to so many Robotics Challenges.
Kwame Adekye Nsroma came up with many innovations and Technology in his lifetime in Senior High School.
He then completed Senior High School in 2022. He didn’t hesitate but he continued to chase his dream after School . He continued his inventions until he invented his first talking humanoid robot.
Through this invention, He had a Full Scholarship From Otumfour Osei Tutu ii to Study Engineering in Akenten Appiah Menkah University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development in the year 2023.
Currently, the good news is that Kwame has come out with Africa’s first Ai prosthetic arm to replicate amputated arms
This Ai Prosthetic Arm uses sensors to work, It is a low cost around USSD 200 and also built with special materials and components from scratch with local materials. It has an easy way to charge it when the battery runs out.
It supports both type B and C OTG so you can easily power it with your smart phone without the use of any power bank or other power source.
This Ai prosthetic arm can perform basic tasks like picking up objects, holding objects, lifting light weight objects and etc.
Though it can’t perform difficult tasks or any hard work like for weeding, lifting heavy objects.
This invention has come to transform lives and rehabilitate the amputated ones.
According to Kwame,he believes Africa shall get to the promised land and through Science and Technology Africa Shall Transform.
