Heartbreaking news from Metro TV Ghana is that, gospel musician, Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, popularly known as Koda is dead after reportedly battling kidney failure.
According to the news report, Koda bravely battled the disease for a long time but never mentioned to anyone what he was going through. He died on Sunday morning of April 21, 2024.

The news of his sudden demise has sent shock waves among his fans and fellow gospel musicians who never saw this coming. His death has indeed caused a great vacuum in the hearts of his loved ones and in the music industry.
Koda was known for his hit songs, ‘Nsempii’ and Nkwa Abodoo’, which featured Nacee. He has a number of other popular songs like, ‘Yapai,’ and ‘Adorso’. His touch on gospel music in Ghana will surely stand the test of time and serve as a lasting tribute to his influence.
