“We need to act now and fast” – Shatta Wale outlines how the music industry can attract investors

Ghanaian dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, commonly referred to as Shatta Wale has penned down a lengthy message to point out the weakness of the Ghana music industry.

According to the Shatta Movement boss, the industry does not appear attractive to foreign investors because we lack the needed infrastructure and certain policies.

He added that for the music industry to thrive, it needs investment, and these investors would only find the industry worthy to invest in if we put in place a well structured system.

The Ghanaian music industry has been referred to by many musicians as a white elephant. The industry according to many industry players, lacks the nectar that is capable of attracting investors .
