Why China’s “Shanghai Centre Tower” ranks second tallest building After Burj Khalifa but highest observation deck within a building in the world

China has established itself as one of the interesting countries in the world, their level of development with the use of various Technological means is arguably second to none.

Even though Beijing is known to be the Capital city of the powerful Asian Country, Shangai has been the country’s biggest city and described as it’s global financial hub.

The Shangai City boast of futuristic skyscrapers including a 128-story mega skyscraper in Lujiazui, Pudong, that only one somewhere else is seen to be taller than in the entire world.

Own by Emaar Properties, Burj Khalifa located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates has a total height of 829.8 m and a roof height of 828 m with 163 floors. It has been the tallest structure and building in the world since its topping out in 2009.

This means The Burj Khalifa is about 197 m in height taller than The Shanghai Centre Tower wich stands at a height of a 632-metre (2,073 ft). But when it comes to the observation deck of Burj Khalifa, it is third on the list at 555.7 behind both Shanghai Tower and Ping An Finance Centre.

The Shangai Centre Tower shares the record (along with the Ping An Finance Center ) of having the world’s highest observation deck within a building or structure at 562 and the world’s fastest elevators at a top speed of 20.5 metres per second (74 km/h; 46 mph).
