Raina Chassagne, wife of Canadian artiste, Tory Lanez has reportedly filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences as the artiste is currently in jail.

The two got married in June 2023 after dating for a couple of years and unfortunately, less than two months after they tied the knot, on August 8, Tory was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Tory was jailed following his shooting incident with Megan Thee Stallion, where he was accused of shooting Megan in the feet and was convicted on three felony counts for shooting Megan.

As Tory is still serving his jail term, Raina has requested for full custody of their son, Kai, who is seven years old. In a report by PEOPLE, court documents suggests that Raina “lists their date of marriage as June 25, 2023 and the date of separation is listed as June 1, 2024.”
Tory Lanez, real name Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson began his career in the music industry in 2009 till he was jailed in August 2023 for shooting Megan Thee Stallion and possession of firearms. Tory became widely known following his hit track, “Luv.”
