Some Ghanaians visited the grave of late footballer, Christian Atsu who died in February 2023 in an earthquake in Turkey.

A huge house has been built over his tomb and a lot of flowers has been put on the tombstone to signify the love people had for him and how much he has been missed.

Atsu’s body was found under the rubble following the 2023 Turkey–Syria earthquake. His body was flown down to Ghana from Turkey to his family few days after his body was found.

His funeral was held on March 17, 2023 at the Forecourt of the State House in Accra, Ghana. He was then buried in his hometown in Dogobome in Ada Foah.
