Nigerian footballer, Victor Boniface has explained why he chose to celebrate his goal like Mohammed Kudus when Leverkusen played against West Ham United recently.

In his defence, he said he did that celebration unconsciously because it was not a planned thing to do. He also said it is a normal thing between Ghanaians and Nigerians to troll each other when the need arises.

The interviewer said he knows Nigerians “cook” Ghanaians a lot on the internet, to which Boniface said it is a normal thing between Nigerians and Ghanaians because both countries are brothers so the “cooking” is necessary.

He said, “I dey see soo many comments on IG about Kudus, no no no, it just come at that time so I just do am, no be say na something I plan, no no no.”

About Nigerians trolling Ghanaians, Boniface said, “No now, we and Ghanaians we be brothers but we need to cook each other you understand. Na normal thing.”
