Cheddar to create the first Industrial Hub in Ghana


Leader of the New Force Movement, Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar has revealed his plan to create the first industrial hub in Ghana during an interview with Kwame Sefa Kayi.

Cheddar had earlier on talked about creating a 16 industrial regional revolution for the country and in the interview, he was asked what that statement means.

In his explanation, he revealed he does not like the idea where Accra is the centre of all businesses and whenever someone needs something, they have to travel from wherever they are to Accra.

He said it has now become necessary to make the other 15 regions as industrial as Accra is so that “we can have one big national economy.”

Cheddar revealed due to this vision, he has been to Takoradi in the Western Region and has started building an “industrial platform for petrochemicals and to create a large scale of manufacturing hubs.”

He gave reasons for building this petronia as “to create the first industrial hub that will represent a Houston or Texas of Africa and decide to create a distribution channel that will supply goods to other countries.”
