GWR: World’s youngest male artist is from Ghana

The Guinness World Records have announced their latest record and it’s set by a Ghanaian, Ace-Liam Nana Sam Ankrah, who is just a year old.

Ace-Liam has set the record of the youngest male artist at the age of 1 year 152 days. According to his mum, he began painting when he started crawling. He was just 6 months old by then.

In a post on the social media platforms of the GWR, they revealed since his mother discovered his talent for painting, she makes sure to always keep him busy with things to paints so she can also go about her business.

Their post reads, “At the age of 1 year 152 days, little Ace-Liam Nana Sam Ankrah from Ghana is the world’s youngest male artist! 🇬🇭His mum Chantelle, also an artist, discovered Ace-Liam’s passion for painting when he was just 6 months old! 👨‍🎨

His mom told the GWR, “While learning to crawl, I spread out a piece of unstretched canvas on the floor and dropped some paint on it as a way to keep him busy while I worked on a commission painting.”

The GWR revealed, “Since then, Ace-Liam has attracted significant attention from national and international media, as well as from the First Lady of the Republic of Ghana! 🇬🇭”
