“He only changed the lyrics”- Kwame yogot speaks on how Amerado sampled his hit song

Ghanaian singer, Kenneth Kyeremanteng, known as Kwame Yogot, has exposed fellow musician , Amerado for unlawfully sampling his song titled “Shege”.

According to the analysis made by Kwame yogot, Amerado’s hit song “ Kweku Ananse “, was crafted out of his ( Kwame Yogot) song which he has already released.

During an interview at Angel radio station, he spoke about how Amerado used the beat and melody of his song without his consent.

He also added that Amerado was however very smart to have changed the lyrics of the song even though he still capitalized on the initial concept of the original song .

The debate about whether “Shege” was indeed sampled by Amerado is currently a buzzing topic on social media.
