“Stay in Ghana and work for dignity”- Otumfuo Osei Tutu II tells Ghanaian youths planning to travel abroad

The Asanthene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II , has admonished Ghanaian youths who are on a quest to seek greener pastures abroad to reconsider their options.

Speaking in a conference at KNUST, the distinguished ruler addressed the issue of “brain drain” , which is gradually causing Ghana to lose a large number of human resource to the outside world.

According to the Asante hene, professionals and fresh graduates should stay and work in Ghana were they are treated with maximum dignity instead of traveling overseas were their efforts are downplayed.

He also asserted that the youth should channel their energies to work for Ghana their homeland and avoid making it a habit to leave the shores of the country to seek success.
