A throwback video of Sheila talking about her relationship with her dad during a radio interview has popped up following Nana Acheampong’s refusal to talk about her during his recent interview with Zionfelix.
During the interview, Sheila said she prefers to work for things on her own, tho her father is quite rich, she has never asked him to fund her music career and he has also not offered to help her out.
She said, “It is not easy getting funding for my music career. My father is capable of helping but he has not offered to do so and I have also not asked for his help yet. When it becomes very necessary, I might ask him for help.”
When asked if she has had a conversation with her father concerning her music career, she said no and further revealed she is not best of friends with him because she didn’t grow up living with him, thus, they did not build a solid father-daughter friendship.
She said, “I did not live with my father (Nana Acheampong) in the same house when I was growing up, although he often came around to visit. Due to that, I did not have the opportunity to build a connection with him.”
