Mc Mbaraka has revealed in a recent interview why he gets emotional anytime he remembers the sacrifices his wife, Lolo, made for him to become successful.
He said, “.. there was this point in our career where they say comedy was not a job, mc was not a job, so they gave me a teaching job to be a teacher. We were always running back home to go and beg our parents for food. So her parents adviced her to talk to me to go back and look for a job.. “
“…. She just allowed me to do my stuff and she kept supporting me. We practically ran to my parents for more than three years to four years, five years. We kept running back for food. We were married but we couldn’t, you know. And I was working but it couldn’t sustain us as a stand up comedian.”
“Today we live a life where we can afford everything we want. So anytime I remember when she woke up that night and just tap me and like this is us this is us and we bought our parents cars, built houses for them…”
