In today’s society where breakups are increasingly common, Nigerian gospel singer, Nathaniel Bassey has used his social media platform, X, formerly Twitter, to convey an uplifting message. In his post, he shared an advice he gave to a girl regarding relationship breakups.

Nathaniel Bassey explained how God can use unsuccessful relationships to rescue individuals from unhappiness without their realization, suggesting that we should express gratitude to God when relationships don’t work out.
He wrote, “I told one of our girls today, You think you had a breakup, but unknown to you, it was a deliverance. Some of you are crying and broken over a failed relationship, not knowing God’s mercy delivered you from a life time of misery.”
