A Nigerian man has revealed that the body of Junior Pope must be buried near the river he drowned unless traditional rites are performed before he can be buried anywhere else.
In a live video session, the man said that Pope’s Family said they were not going to bury him at the village and he said that per tradition, anyone that dies by drowning must be buried by the river he died in.
He also made it known that he has never witnessed anyone who drowned in a river buried anywhere else aside near the river so it will be hard for Pope’s family to take his body anywhere else.

He even suggested that the family may have to spend about N30 million to perform the necessary rituals to be able to bury the body anywhere else that is if they will be allowed to have their way.
