Nigerian Youth undergo Training to fight Boko Haram with Catapult


Everyday comes with its fascinating story of the day and here comes one from the Katsina State of Nigeria.

Some Members of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Social Media Organization , Katsina state chapter, have have commenced counter-banditry training in the use of locally made catapults.

The youths claimed that they embarked on the exercise tagged, “Operation Catapult Shoot”, as part of efforts to defend themselves against armed bandits in the country in response to Governor Aminu Bello Masari’s directive.

State Chairman of the Organization, Comrade Nuraddeen Adam Kankara Tina led other members of the social media group to launch the exercise in Katsina metropolis.

Recall that Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari during the inauguration of Katsina Joint Security Operations and Communication Control Centre, urged citizens to device alternative means of defending themselves rather than waiting on government.

Nigeria is currently battling serious issue of security.

Some states are calling for their independence, Fulani herdsmen are reportedly clashing with locals while bandits are destroying police stations, security installations and terrorizing civilians while Boko haram is never keep cool with its atrocities.

It’s unclear how the country can held onto these issues of national security
