Argentine superstar, Lionel Messi has been named by TIME as the best athlete of the year 2023.

TIME, an American based media company has given the title to Lionel Messi as the athlete who made the most impact throughout the year under review.

It hasn’t been the best of performance ms for Lionel Messi when it comes to club level. However his world cup triumph has gained him a huge advantage in many aspects this year.

Messi won the Ballon D’Or and many other individual accolades and TIME also regarded him as the best among athletes worldwide.
