Toddler who lost his testicles and buttocks in a dog attack pleads for financial assistance

On a Monday night, a two-year-old toddler was attacked by a mixed shepherd breed dog tearing parts of his buttocks and testicles.

Godwin Asediba visited the family to equire more about this tragic incident.

The mother of the two-year-old toddler narrated the sad incident. “It was 4am on Monday, when I stepped out into the washroom to ease myself, when my child was sleeping in the courtyard. Suddenly, I heard his cry and I assumed it was because I had left his side. I rushed back to see the dog attacking my baby inside the mosquito net we were sleeping in,” she recounted.

The father of the baby happens to be an employee to owner of the dog. The family feels deeply disappointed by the owners failure to fully accept responsibility of the incident that occurred.

However Godwin Asediba reports that, the kid was sent to Korlebu Teaching hospital and is responding to treatment.

“He’s doing well by the grace of God. He needs 2,700GHC each week to help in treating the wounds and a reconstructive surgery after,” Godwin revealed.
