The Abuakwa police in the Ashanti Region have reportedly arrested two siblings, suspected to be mentally challenged after they set their house on fire and killed their mother.
According to reports, the siblings had an argument with their grandmother and in the heat of the argument, they threatened her that they were going to burn her alive.
The grandmother is said to have immediately rushed to the police station to make a report of the threat and the siblings, thinking the grandmother was in the house, locked the building and set the place on fire.

Fortunately for the grandmother, she has not yet returned home when it happened but unfortunately, their mother was inside the house when they set the place on fire.
Their mother began screaming for help when the fire started engulfing the entire house, but she was trapped inside so neighbors were unable to help bring her out. She sadly died in the fire and her remains have been taken to the morgue.
