US-based Nigerian bodybuilder, Michael Chidozie has reportedly died after he was shot by his wife during an argument in their home in Galleria area in Houston in the United States.

Per reports, Keaiirra Shavoiyae Chidozie, the wife of Michael shot him because she said she feared for her safety during the argument so she moved to the bedroom in their apartment where Michael is said to have followed her, and that is where she shot him multiple times.
Michael did not die on the spot but was rushed to the hospital where court documents revealed he was shot twice in the torse, once in the arm, and once in the chest. He was reportedly on life support for 18 days and died from his injuries on April 8, 2024.

Keaiirra has been arrested and has been charged with an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She has reportedly been released on bond and is set appear again in court on May 23, 2024. The couple had two children.
