On Sunday, the 24th of February, 2024, Shubble, the former girlfriend of British YouTuber, Wilbur Soot, use her Twitch platform to address a distressing matter. She openly discussed how her ex-boyfriend widely believed to be Wilbur, had a habit of biting her and causing bruises.
She claimed he (ex-boyfriend) would even playfully poke at these bruises, ignoring her pleas for him to stop. In light of the increasing mentions of his name in relation to Shubble’s revelations, Wilbur felt compelled to respond to this abuse allegations.
What happened between Wilbur Soot and Shubble?
The saga began on February 21 when Shelby Stubble started a bombard titled “talking about something more serious,” in which she shared her have of dating an unnamed British ex boyfriend. Initially, she kept the details secret for her own well being. However, she lastly decided to talk about the warning signs of toxic relationships.
During the stream, she disclosed that her partner, believed to be Wilbur Soot, started by biting her as a form of affection as well as which later progressed to the point where she allegedly had bruises all over her arms. Shubble mentioned that he would playfully poked at the bruises, contempt the pain as well as and even showed them off.

So, he stopped biting my arms as often and he started biting my legs instead. Um, and it was in the last couple of months in the relationship that, every time he bit me, it was until I needed to use the safe word. Um, it had become his benchmark for when to stop.”
Wilbur Soot respond to allegations
Following the allegations made against Wilbur by Shubble, the British YouTuber has also taken to his X, formerly twitter page to respond to it. He posted, “In the past week a series of allegations have been made over my conduct from an ex-girlfriend. I want to emphasize that, although I feel it fair to offer my perspective, this person’s feelings are completely valid.”
“I have taken my time sharing this statement as I wanted to process and respond we respectfully and with the hope to gain a deeper understanding for the situation. During our relationship’s final months, I regrettably became slobbish, disrespectful, and selfish. These actions caused a lot of pain to my ex-girlfriend and I’ve since sought therapy to address these behaviours, making significant lifestyle changes to rectify my past actions.”
“I have come to realise how much my past behaviour hurt this person, but I truly, compassionately believe I have made great strides from the person I once was and hope I can continue to grow and improve on this trajectory. The allegation of abuse, particularly in the form of biting, deeply shocked me. Throughout our relationship, I understood from our numerous conversations and text message exchanges on the subject, that this behaviour was consensual, playful and reciprocally enjoyed.”
“I truly believe those personal message exchanges reflect mutual affection and understanding. Out of respect for her, I choose not to publish them and I emphasise my perspective is not shared to diminish or invalidate anyone’s feelings. Instead I share it in the hope that I can offer a genuine, fair and relevant insight into my understanding of the situation.”

just a reminder that this statement shouldn't overpower her story. It's incredibly disappointing that the speculation is true but we NEED to be more focused on supporting the voices of abuse victims, not the abusers.
