Billionaire X, formerly Twitter owner Elon Musk has said on Friday, 19th, April that, he opposes the banning of TikTok, as a bill that would either force the app’s Beijing-based parent company ByteDance to sell TikTok or restricts its usage in the U.S. is expected to pass the House on Saturday, as part of the hotly debated bipartisan foreign aid package.

According to Musk in a post he made on X, the banning of TikTok would be against the freedom of speech and expression even though it will benefit his platform X.
He said, “In my opinion, TikTok should not be banned in the USA, even though such a ban may benefit the X platform. Doing so would be contrary to freedom of speech and expression. It is not what America stands for.”
